Sonia has been in the financial services industry for more than 40 years and made the move to Stifel in 2021. With her vast experience and knowledge, she focuses on what is most important to each of her clients and their families so she can develop a tailored plan designed to build, preserve, and transition wealth.
Prior to Stifel, Sonia worked for Morgan Stanley for seven years. She also spent 27 years with Merrill Lynch, where she served as Resident Manager of the Arlington, Texas, branch for five years.
Sonia earned a B.S. in Business Administration - Finance and Marketing from Minnesota State University and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation from the College for Financial Planning. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends, family, and children.
Alex has been a member of the Ginnell Wealth Management Group at Stifel since 2021. He has graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.B.A. in Finance and holds the Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses.
Alex is dedicated to helping clients navigate the financial landscape by identifying suitable investment opportunities and delivering clear, practical insights. Through ongoing portfolio reviews and thoughtful discussions, Alex works to ensure each strategy aligns with his clients’ evolving short- and long-term goals. He is deeply committed to putting clients’ interests first and applies a disciplined, research-driven approach—supported by detailed stock analysis—to help them form confident investment decisions.
When he’s not working, Alex enjoys life with his wife and their three pets. They both volunteer with their animal rescue group and love road trips in their camper. Alex also enjoys time at the lake, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.

She began her career in 2009 as a Financial Professional at AXA Advisors, where she specialized in retirement planning. She has also worked alongside her Ginnell Wealth Management Group team members at both Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, further strengthening her expertise across a range of client needs.
Laura is passionate about helping clients pursue financial confidence. She plays a key role in developing and implementing customized retirement planning strategies and serves as the team’s lead for annuity and insurance planning. In addition, Laura oversees the team’s daily operations, ensuring a seamless experience while delivering highly personalized service for each client.
She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®) designation from the College for Financial Planning.
